He prefers to keep close, using his fists to incapacitate the opponent, while weaving back and forth using his speed to dodge and daze his foe.
WEAPON » Kaji is a Sword, though he does not know it yet. His name actually means Fire Blade. In weapon form, his hilt is wide and long, and bright red in color. In ancient runes, the word "Dragonfyre" is carved on his blade. His blade is red primarily, with other colors. His eye is on most of the blade-forms, allowing him sight outside without leaving the blade.
Special Abilities: At will, and with a lot of stored energy, the blade of the sword can becoming ringed with spirals of fire soaring across the vertical sides of the blade.

PERSONALITY »Kaji is a very willful person, especially about what he believes. He will fight for this with a fiery soul, not being content unless he comes out on the top. A poet at heart, He ranges from very quiet and thoughtful to fiery and passionate. To other people, he is mostly distant away from them at first, but as he gets to know someone, he will become more comfortable.

Kaji was born in a small shack, in a secluded area of a large range of mountains. He lived there all his life, with his mother. He grew up farming, as the ground was very fertile even this high on the plateaus.
When he turned sixteen, he had left to the town at the foot of the mountain for supplies. When he returned, his mother was gone. He waited for days, but after deciding she was either dead or not coming back, he descended back to the town, trying to find work to feed himself.
After a long while, a mysterious woman made herself present to him, convincing him to follow her in exchange for food and board wit her. After half a year of traveling with this mysterious woman, though he never really figured out her name, she left him one day at the steps of the Academy, saying only that he 'belonged there'...
